Meet Tim O’Connell. He’s holding an American Oystercatcher that was banded on the preserve for ongoing research. Tim is a lifelong birdwatcher and a Texas Master Naturalist. He resides in Hitchcock, Texas. For the past 5 years, he has worked as a Preserve Steward at The Texas City Prairie Preserve for The Nature Conservancy of Texas.
