Learn how to capture the decisive moment at a local spot that has many birds, with an emphasis on birds in flight, sparring and other behavior. Sean will discuss how knowledge, observation, equipment and technique combine to help nature photographers capture decisive moments. He will discuss how photographers can get the most out of their gear and their technique in a wide variety of common shooting situations.
Suggested Equipment: Digital SLR camera with a 300mm or greater lens, 1.4x or 2.0x extender for added magnification, flash, tripod, small camera bag, water sandals, towel, hat, snacks, water, insect repellant.
